My journeys into the world of tea have taken me to many places (in spirit, if not in fact), and the further I travel, the appetite to taste more grows with each new adventure! I have been fascinated with how much variety there is to sample in this old, yet new-to-me world, and the adventure just keeps getting bigger with each new fork in the road that I happen upon. So many decisions, so many unknowns, so much to savor!

I know something of tea, but the more I learn, the more there is to learn about the mysteries and nuances of this liquid refreshment, that is so dependent on leaf, that is so dependent on tree, that is so dependent on air and soil and sun and the keepers of the trees. Nature gave us this gift. It is up to man to keep it nurtured and hopefully the gifts will continue to come forth.

This is just a test blog, but hopefully I will be able to find time to continue with my little flights of fancy, and get some thoughts out about this wonderful world of tea. Cheers!
